1 General features of MuseScore for composition and music notation.As of version 2.0, the program allows us to import GuitarPro type files which are used by many guitarists and bassists with programs like Guitar Pro o tuxguitar. At the same time we can also import files from commercial music arrangement programs, Band-in-a-Box. MuseScore we will be able to import and export many music formats, including midi and MusicXML. In addition, it has a significant number of keyboard shortcuts that facilitate musical composition. The MuseScore interface is made up of a system of panels and palettes that collect the different symbols that can be inserted on a staff. This software provides us with a clean user interface, with a fast entry of notes in editing similar to the speed writing for notes that other commercial music notation programs have, such as Final y Sibelius. The program also has support for percussion notation, as well as direct printing from the program. This app is a WYSIWYG editor with full support for playing scores and import or export MusicXML and standard MIDI files. The musical notation system is fully represented: figures, rests, dots, ligatures, clefs, bars, accidentals, etc.
